STAMFORD HIGH ORATORS SWEEP STATE STREET DEBATE EXHIBITION!
Congratulations to the Stamford High School Debate team for their impressive victory at the State Street Debating Society Exhibition of Oratory and Rhetoric!
Held on February 10th at Giovanni’s in Darien, the event saw SHS standouts Aryeh Pollack (12), Cal Gillin (12), Nundhini Mascarenas (12), and Amelia Nanikesan (10) take on students from Westhill and AITE.
The team skillfully argued two complex resolutions: the moral justification of US intervention in foreign leadership and the implementation of social media policies for minors.
We extend a huge thank you to Coach Ms. Wingertzahn for her expert preparation and dedication to the team’s success!
