SENIOR “KNIGHT” VICTORY!

Girls Hockey and Wrestling Give Senior a Winning Sendoff

Last evening, two programs honored the senior class by celebrating those athletes that gave the last four years to their respective programs.  And both delivered! Our girls’ team won a tough game against Trumbull 2-1, while our wrestlers defeated Ludlowe!  Both programs still have the post season they are looking forward to but for now, congratulations to our senior athletes for representing themselves, but their programs and teammates!

AP exams are scheduled for May, please refer to your emails and reach out to Ms. Vazquez for any questions regarding your exam. If you have a conflict with your AP and IB exam, please reach out to Ms. Vazquez to move your AP exam to late testing

Scholarship season is starting for SHS. Check out the scholarship list and the available applications in the College and Career Center! There are multiple opportunities for SHS students to win funds for college! Our IG is always up to date with where to find each scholarship! 

Mickey Lione Jr Scholarship fund is open for SOPHOMORES- $7,500- scholarship found in the College and Career Center

Bobby Augustyn Scholarship is LIVE- find it here

State Street Scholarship Packets are due to Ms. Vazquez- February 20, 2026- $10,000 scholarship! They can be found in the College & Career Center

Better Together: Creating Harmony!

An art class is buzzing this week! Our Art Partners class is diving into a collaborative challenge: Color Harmony. Instead of working solo, students are pairing up to blend their styles and palettes. Whether they’re mixing blue hues or bold, energetic opposites, they are learning that the best results happen when we work in sync.

The Heart of Art Partners

The goal of this class goes far beyond the canvas. Art Partners is designed to:

• Bridge Differences: Using creativity to connect students of all abilities.

• Build Community: Developing social skills, empathy, and patience through shared projects.

• Celebrate Inclusion: Ensuring every student feels the pride of saying, "We made this together."

In this room, art is the bridge, and friendship is the masterpiece!

SHS “U-KNIGHTED NATION” TUTORING

If any student needs extra academic support throughout the school year, the SHS U-Knighted Nation organization is here to assist!  Made up of student volunteers, the UKN tutors are available to assist and help ANY student that may need it.
