SHS GIVES BACK!
U-KNIGHTED NATION RAISES OVER $10,000 FOR BENNETT CANCER CENTER
This past week, the Stamford High Girls Basketball team hosted our annual "Curt Tinnin Knight" to honor the memory of beloved former coach, mentor, and security guard Curtis Tinnin, who passed away in 2023.
In a powerful display of community spirit, SHS presented a donation of $10,024 to the Bennett Cancer Center. Since the "Pink Out" initiative began in 2011, the SHS community has raised a remarkable $134,314 through apparel sales and dedicated fundraising. This achievement is a true "whole school" effort, driven by the tireless work of students, teachers, and families.
We were also proud to stand with our rivals-turned-allies at Danbury High as U-Knighted Nation made a special donation to Bella’s Hope Foundation in honor of their teammate who sadly lost her battle with cancer last year.
We are truly #UKnighted.
