“PERFECTLY PINK!”
SHS Pink Out Week Culminates in First Annual “Pink Pep Rally”
This past week, the SHS community proudly wrapped up its annual Pink Out Spirit Week with our inaugural Pink Pep Rally! This student-led campaign was a resounding success, demonstrating incredible school spirit while raising money for Breast Cancer Awareness for our 12th year.
Starting on Monday with our “Spirit Week” campaign: Pajama Day and Stuffed Animal Day, Jersey Day, Camo or Animal Print Day, Colors Wars, Staff T Shirt Day, and ending with Pink Out shirt day, SHS students and staff had a fun week!
Students organized the entire week, from selling shirts to managing activities and orchestrating the final celebration. Their hard work is truly inspiring.
With this year's contribution, SHS has officially surpassed $120,000 in total contributions to this important cause. This tradition of service is a powerful reminder of our community's commitment to generosity and putting others first. Thank you to all the students and staff for making this one of our school's greatest traditions.

SHS STUDENTS DOMINATE STATEWIDE PERSONAL FINANCE POSTER CONTEST!
Students from Ms. Ashley Dougherty's Spring 2025 Personal Finance classes at SHS recently showcased their financial knowledge and creativity by dominating the annual Connecticut Financial Scholars poster contest.
